Calvin Kay

In 1997 the former 17 years old Calvin Kay started DJ-ing. His Origin he found in Techno Beats but very soon he got to know that this style want give a big chance to become established in this scene.

So he turned to commercial music to make himself a name in discos. Even so this wasn’t as easy as he tought, because of the numerous offers of DJ’s .

His way leads him trough a number of smaller rural discos till he got the first chances in urban ones, where he always had to give a prove of dj-ing to himselft.


In Autumn 2003 he finally got the Chance to play as a Resident Deejay for a big discotheque. There he got to know lots of well versed DJ’s and had the possibility to appropriate missing parts in his style from them. Out of these styles he creates his own very special unique style and became a real great native Deejay.


In February 2005 he got the Offer to play for the Empire Group. To accelerate his career he took this step. For sure it wasn’t the easiest time, but as all the same he convenienced because of his flexibility. He played in different discotheques of the Empire Group and also very different styles, everything from Party till techno was included.


This put the finishing touches to him to become a complete Deejay who can nearly play each Location and Event till today …
