His nickname was inspired by
Pierre-Auguste Renoir
Gilbert Renoir is an Italian deejay and producer of electronic music.
His nickname was inspired by Pierre-Auguste Renoir - one of the best-known
French Impressionist painters (Impressionism is a cultural movement that
started at the end of the 19th century).
Together with his friend dYor, he composes enchanting melodies that
convey love, joy and passion to the listener.
This deep and sentimental music is a continuous intertwinement of
harmonic progression and insistent grooves which penetrate the soul.
Gilbert and DYOR have grown to become highly sought after producer/djs,
and continue to DJ in dance clubs and at events globally.
Their first release, called "Follow Me" (BEYOURSELFMUSIC, Holland)
represents the "Renoir and dYor Style". For their first single, the two
Italian Djs worked with great American singer Ken Spector (Los Angeles,
California) - an eclectic dj/producer and singer with a vocal timbre
reminiscent of the 1980s dance music style, and of one of the finest
vocalists of that period: Dave Gahan from Depeche Mode.
His radio shows include "Heaven Drops" on ETN internet radio, "Zero Db"
on m2o FM (Italy) with more than 1,800,000 listeners daily, and "Full
Spectrum", a guest dj set consistently heard on some of the most
prominent FM and internet radio stations globally.
The duo (Renoir & dYor) will continue to transform poetry into musical
